I Must Confess

that I am addicted to free stuff, and sharing my opinion.  I have always been opinionated, just ask my Mom.  And I have always loved a bargain, just ask my Nana, who was raised during the Great Depression and passed on her savvy saving gene to me.  I have been able to sniff out a clearance rack since I was old enough to reach it.  But it has only been in the past few years that I have moved on from great deals and casually sharing my opinions to achieving my coolest accomplishment ever:  product testing and sharing my opinions in a social media setting.

I have found several avenues in which to achieve this goal.  Today I will share my thoughts on a new website I have found called http://www.influenster.com/  Currently it is "invite only", and it works like this.  You earn badges by completing surveys in areas of interest to you.  For example, if you a bride to be, you would complete the "Blushing Bride" questions.  I opted for Mother Bear, Jetsetter, Beauty Queen and Sweet Tooth.  Then based on the badges you earn, you can become an expert by sharing your opinions on various topics related to the badge.  For my Jetsetter badge, I gave a review on Delta Airlines.  As you share your opinions, invite friends, and link your social media profiles with Influenster, your score increases.  The higher your score, the more you increase your chances to be chosen to receive a "Vox Box" of products to test and share with those you influence.  The vox boxes are based on your expertise badges.

Pretty cool, huh?  What's awesome is once you are a member (and it's free in case I didn't mention that, but then it wouldn't be a bargain if it wasn't) you can read reviews on products you were curious about before you invest, and share your thought on products you already own.  And get rewarded in the process.  So it's a win - win.  Check out my link above and request an invite directly from Influenster if it sounds like something you would want to be a part of.  And look forward to more posts from me on how to find ways to test products and share opinions.
